Activities
I am taking some steps to reduce the exposure of my users to the big data hoarders. The following is a list of «To Do» items that I plan and hope to implement.
- Done Eliminate Google Analytics from my blog
- Done Evaluate on-site stats solutions
- Done Remove Google Analytics
- Done Eliminate third party services for paying users of shrib.com
- Done Remove Google Analytics
- Done Remove AddThis
- Done Remove Others
Private plans:
- Done Move from online news (addiction) to
actual paper newspaperno news. - Open Move from credit card and mobile payments to actual cash
- Done Move away from G Suite and gmail (by google…).
- In Progress Remove all Google and Facebook related native apps from my smartphone.
- Done Switch from (google-owned) Chrome to Firefox for main browser
- Done Use multiple Firefox profiles to minimize tracking possibilities in everyday life (create direct icons to fire up the multiple profiles alongside each other etc.)
